Everyone is invited to join us for our midweek Lenten Soup and Bread suppers in our church Fellowship Hall, starting at 6:00 p.m. (gathering) then food is served at 6:15 p.m.  Lenten service follows at 7:00 p.m in the Sanctuary.

Outline for this year’s mid-week Lenten services beginning with Ash Wednesday and including Holy Week- Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services:

 *February 22 (Ash Wednesday):  The Parable of the Pharisee and the Tax Collector.  Receive Justification.  This man went down to his house justified, rather than the other.  Luke 18:14

**March 1:  The Parable of the Sower and the Seed.  Receive The Word.  As for what was sown on good soil, this is the one who hears the word and understands it.  Matthew 13:23

**March 8:  The Parable of the Hidden Treasure and the Priceless Pearl.  Receive the Treasure.  A merchant on finding one pearl of great value, went and sold all that he had and bought it.  Matthew 13:45-46

3:00 pm: Spring Cluster Gathering of the Southeastern Conference of the IN-KY Synod

The SEIC of the IK Synod will be having their Spring Assembly on Sunday, March 19 at 3:00 p.m.  The meetings will be held at St. Paul, Olean.  The guest speaker that day will be Rev. Dan Forehand, assistant to the Bishop for Ministry Transition.  He will explain the "call process" and address questions and concerns.  A meal will be served after the meeting.  Please email Pastor Ladona Webb to RSVP so they can get a head count for meal preparations.  Her email address is [email protected]
